Shamrock Marathon

Each year Virginia Beach holds its Annual Shamrock Marathon. The Shamrock Sportsfest weekend has grown to a world class event with its 5 races and over 18,000 attendees. Three world records have been set, as well as 32 national records and three participants have qualified for the Olympic trials. The Shamrock Marathon is one of the largest sporting events in Virginia.

2010 is the first year that Cape Henry Associates participated in the Annual Shamrock Marathon 8K. We sponsored 3 of our staff members who volunteered to carry the banner for Cape Henry. Our runners were Jonathan Arrants, Troy Drury, and Kris Tilley. All of our runners did very well within their respective age groups with Troy Drury being our fastest runner on the team.
