Capability Production Documents (CPD)

Cape Henry Associates  develops CPDs, which address the requirements of a single block/increment of the program; its focus is on production of a specified quantity of a specific system.  It is rewritten for each increment in an evolutionary acquisition program.  The CPD refines Key Performance Parameters (KPP) and performance attributes, provides firm requirements for production of a specific block of the program, and updates the CDD with hard Threshold/Objective performance parameters for the block based on the system design.  The CPD focuses on the specific operational requirements applicable to procurement of a set quantity of a specific system and contains refined requirements informed by system design and demonstration activities.  Cost and engineering estimates are also be refined in the CPD and presented as life-cycle costs.
